About This Role
Suraj School in Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana invites applications for the position of PRT Science Teacher. This full-time role is designed for a graduate with a passion for science education and at least three years of classroom experience. The teacher will shape young minds in Grades 1 to 5, ensuring a strong foundation in science concepts aligned with CBSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons for primary students, using activity-based learning to make concepts clear. Prepare students for school-level science exhibitions and inter-house competitions in Manesar and Gurugram.
Lead the school’s Science curriculum for PRT classes, ensuring alignment with CBSE guidelines and the school’s academic calendar. Integrate local examples—like water conservation projects or seasonal weather observations—to make learning relevant.
Provide focused coaching for students appearing in board exam–style science assessments within the school. Identify learning gaps through informal assessments and design remedial activities.
Organize monthly science fairs and model-making sessions in collaboration with other PRT teachers. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and resource usage for each Science class.
Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, and teacher training programs organized by Suraj School. Support the school’s digital initiatives by using smart classrooms for Science demonstrations.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must be graduates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. A minimum of three years of teaching experience in primary Science is required.
TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with CBSE Class 1–5 Science syllabus and classroom management tools is essential.
Career Opportunities
Experienced PRT Science Teachers showing consistent performance may be considered for the Science HOD role in the primary section. Annual increments are based on classroom effectiveness, student feedback, and professional growth.

Salary and Benefits
The monthly salary for this position ranges from Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include PF, health coverage, and subsidized transport for Manesar-Gurugram routes.
