Assessment in PE involves evaluating students’ physical fitness through standardized tests like the 1.6 km run, sit-ups, and pull-ups. Feedback sessions will focus on improving endurance, agility, and coordination while aligning with the school’s holistic growth philosophy. The teacher must also mentor younger students, ensuring inclusive participation for all abilities.
A postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field is mandatory, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of teaching experience in Physical Education or sports coaching is required, with preference given to candidates who have worked with diverse student groups.
