Role Summary
Dav Mahatma Anand Swami Centenary Public School in Hansi, Hisar, Haryana is recruiting a PRT Sanskrit Teacher for our primary section. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching Sanskrit to students from Class 1 to 5. The ideal candidate should have a passion for Sanskrit language and culture.
How You Will Teach
As a PRT Sanskrit Teacher, you will use practical methods to teach Sanskrit to our young learners. You will use stories from ancient Sanskrit texts, recite verses from the Vedas, and conduct language exercises to make learning Sanskrit fun and engaging. You will also use flashcards, worksheets, and other teaching aids to help students learn Sanskrit grammar and vocabulary.
What You Will Do
- Teach Sanskrit to students from Class 1 to 5 using a variety of teaching methods and materials.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching aids for Sanskrit classes.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Develop and implement projects that promote Sanskrit language and culture.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop a comprehensive language program.
- Communicate with parents about student progress and provide feedback.
- Participate in school events and activities that promote Sanskrit language and culture.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Meet with colleagues to discuss teaching methods and share best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Sanskrit language and education.
Eligibility
- Graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field (M.A., M.Ed., B.Ed., D.El.Ed.).
- NET or SET in Sanskrit is preferred.
- CTET or TET is not required for this position.

- Strong knowledge of Sanskrit language, literature, and culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and teaching aids.
