Daily responsibilities include delivering engaging biology lessons tailored to Class 9 and 10 students. You will prepare interactive classroom sessions covering topics like cell biology, genetics, and ecology, ensuring clarity and practical relevance. Daily lesson planning and student engagement are key—keeping lessons dynamic with experiments and discussions.
Regular responsibilities span the academic cycle. You will conduct periodic lab demonstrations and field trips, fostering practical learning. Assessing student progress through quizzes and projects also falls under your duties. Maintaining updated teaching resources and collaborating with the biology department ensures curriculum alignment.
Periodic responsibilities include organizing biology club activities and coordinating with parents on academic advancements. You will also attend departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and curriculum updates. Ensuring compliance with school policies and maintaining discipline in the biology lab is essential.
To qualify, hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Biology. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
