Computer Lab Assistant Position at Lumina World School in Jind
At Lumina World School in Jind, we need a dedicated Computer Lab Assistant to ensure smooth operations and maintenance of our digital infrastructure. This role involves hands-on management of the computer lab, ensuring all equipment is functional, updated, and accessible for students.
You will be responsible for daily setup and troubleshooting of computers, printers, and peripherals. This includes installing software, resolving technical issues, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace for learners. Your tasks will include monitoring hardware and software performance, maintaining logs of repairs, and coordinating with IT support if needed.
A key part of your job is assisting with student training sessions on basic computer skills. You will guide students through practical exercises, demonstrate software usage, and ensure they understand fundamental digital literacy. This involves setting up small group sessions and providing clear, step-by-step instructions.
Regular maintenance and inventory checks are essential. You will track the usage of lab equipment, order spare parts when necessary, and ensure all devices are properly sanitized and maintained. This includes checking batteries, cables, and peripherals to prevent downtime during classes.
Collaboration with school administration is important. You will report any technical issues promptly to the relevant departments, ensuring minimal disruption to learning. Your role also involves assisting with school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities that require computer support.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month. A postgraduate degree in a relevant field with at least two years of experience in IT support or similar administrative roles is required. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude are highly valued.
