About This Role
We are seeking an experienced IIT Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan in Jind, Haryana. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students in grades 6-12. You will be expected to create engaging and interactive lessons, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mathematics and experience in teaching at a school.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Mathematics to students in grades 6-12 using a variety of teaching methods and materials.
- Create engaging and interactive lessons to help students understand complex mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments.
- Provide feedback to students on their performance and help them set achievable goals.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement Mathematics curriculum.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Supervise students during breaks and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Participate in school events and activities, such as parent-teacher meetings and Math competitions.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field and a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. qualification. A strong background in Mathematics and experience in teaching at a school is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in teaching IIT Mathematics and have a good understanding of the curriculum.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a salary of Rs.70,000 - Rs.120,000 per month, depending on their experience and qualifications.
