Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and supervise music-related activities, festivals and competitions.
- Manage budgets, procure instruments and maintain inventory for the music department.
- Liaise with external artists, vendors and cultural organizations for workshops and performances.
- Develop and implement policies for student participation, safety and equipment usage.
- Prepare reports on program outcomes and present recommendations to senior management.
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on best practices in music program administration.
Skills
- Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, parents and staff.
- Ability to handle multiple events simultaneously and meet
- Proficiency in basic financial management and inventory control.
- Creative problem‑solving and a passion for promoting music education.
Qualifications
The candidate should hold at least a graduate degree. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed is advantageous, and possession of TET/CTET certification will be considered a plus. Minimum two years of relevant experience in music program coordination or a similar administrative capacity is required.
Salary
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs.13,000 to Rs.20,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
