Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT Political Science Teacher, you will lead the curriculum for class 11th and 12th, ensuring that students develop a deep understanding of Political Science. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, including lectures, discussions, and activities
- Coordinating with other teachers to ensure seamless integration of Political Science with other subjects
- Coaching students for board exams, providing individualized attention and guiding them through exam preparation
- Developing and implementing assessment strategies to evaluate student progress
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress
- Collaborating with the department to develop and implement new curriculum initiatives
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to whole-school events and activities
- Providing guidance and support to junior teachers and non-teaching staff as needed
- Engaging with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the post of PGT Political Science Teacher, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A postgraduate degree in Political Science (M.A.) or any other relevant subject
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Political Science at the senior secondary level
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree for teaching positions
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
