Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive school‑wide sports curriculum aligned with national guidelines.
- Supervise and schedule use of playgrounds, gymnasiums, and equipment, ensuring safety and maintenance standards.
- Lead a team of support staff, conduct performance reviews, and organise professional development workshops.
- Organise inter‑school competitions, annual sports meets, and community fitness events.
- Monitor student participation, maintain records of performance, and prepare reports for school management.
- Liaise with parents, coaches, and external sports organisations to enhance programme quality.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with students, parents, and staff.
- Proficiency in planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and first‑aid procedures.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in a variety of physical activities.
Qualifications & Experience
A post‑graduate qualification such as B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential, with a preference for candidates who have cleared TET/CTET. Minimum two years of relevant experience in school sports administration or a similar leadership role is required.
Salary
The position offers a monthly remuneration of Rs.15,000 – Rs.30,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
