Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Physical Education classes covering games, athletics, and fitness routines for students. Develop age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with school curriculum standards while ensuring safety and inclusivity. Monitor student participation, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to encourage healthy habits.
Teach fundamental sports skills like cricket, football, basketball, and track events, adapting teaching methods for students with diverse abilities. Organize school sports events, inter-house competitions, and extracurricular activities to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship. Collaborate with the school management to promote physical education as a core part of the curriculum.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a focus on Physical Education. A graduate degree in Physical Education or related field is preferred. Possession of TET/CTET certification is highly beneficial but not mandatory for this position.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience in Physical Education at the primary or upper primary level. Experience in designing sports programs for school children is a plus. Familiarity with local sports infrastructure and community engagement would be advantageous.
Salary and Employment Type
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.12,000 to Rs.20,000. This is a full-time position at Dalamwala Public School | Jind, dedicated to nurturing young athletes and healthy lifestyles.
