PRT Social Science Teacher Responsibilities at Lumina World School
You will deliver structured Social Science lessons across grades, ensuring alignment with the curriculum while adapting teaching methods for diverse student learning needs. Daily classroom instruction will cover topics like history, geography, political science, and economics, with a focus on engaging students through interactive methods.
You will prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans, assessments, and activities that reinforce key concepts in a way students can grasp. Your role includes explaining historical events, analyzing political systems, and exploring geographical concepts with practical examples.
Observing student progress and adjusting teaching strategies will be part of your daily tasks. You will also assist in organizing small-group discussions and projects to deepen understanding of social studies topics.
Eligibility and Qualifications
A graduate degree in Social Science or a related field is essential for this role. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory to teach in government-recognized schools in Haryana.
Two years of teaching experience in Social Science or a relevant subject will be highly valued. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage.
Employment Details
This is a full-time position based in Jind, Haryana. You will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.13,000 to Rs.20,000, depending on performance and qualifications. The role is designed for dedicated educators committed to shaping young minds in Social Science.
