The school is looking for a dynamic Chemistry teacher to engage students of classes 6 to 12. The role involves delivering the curriculum with practical demonstrations and fostering a love for science among learners. Candidates will work in a supportive environment that values academic excellence.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct Chemistry lessons as per the Haryana state syllabus, ensuring clarity of concepts and regular assessments. Design and supervise laboratory experiments, maintaining safety standards and encouraging hands‑on learning. Prepare teaching aids, visual presentations and worksheets that cater to diverse learning abilities. Evaluate student performance through tests, quizzes and project work, providing timely feedback and remedial support where needed. Coordinate with senior faculty for interdisciplinary projects and school science fairs. Maintain attendance records, lesson plans and grade books in accordance with school policy. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Chemistry curriculum and suggest updates based on latest educational trends. Support extra‑curricular activities such as science clubs, quizzes and inter‑school competitions. Uphold the values and discipline standards of Dalamwala Public School | Jind while serving as a role model for students.
Qualification and experience
The candidate must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree along with a post‑graduate qualification in Chemistry or a related science. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting is required. TET or CTET certification is preferred and will be considered an added advantage. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English and a passion for student development are essential.
Salary and location
