PRT Art and Craft Teacher Position at Vedashree International School, Kaithal
Vedashree International School in Kaithal seeks a dedicated PRT (Post Graduate Teacher) to lead Art and Craft classes for students. This role focuses on fostering creativity, hands-on learning, and cultural expression through engaging projects and practical activities.
The selected candidate will design and implement art and craft lessons aligned with school curriculum standards. Daily classroom instruction will include drawing, painting, pottery, textile arts, and other creative mediums. You will supervise student projects, ensuring they meet quality benchmarks while encouraging individual creativity. Collaborate with the art department to plan thematic units that integrate subjects like history, geography, and social studies. Organize extracurricular art workshops and competitions to boost student participation. Maintain a safe, organized art studio space with appropriate materials and tools. Assess student progress through observations, portfolios, and periodic evaluations. Represent the school at local art exhibitions or cultural events, showcasing student work. Ensure compliance with safety protocols while handling art supplies and equipment. Participate in staff meetings to share innovative teaching methods and best practices in art education.
To qualify, hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of relevant teaching experience. A graduate degree in arts or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is beneficial but not mandatory. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.25,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience. The role is based in Kaithal, Haryana.
