Job Purpose
The Hostel Warden will oversee all aspects of the school hostel, ensuring a safe, orderly, and supportive environment for students. This role requires strong leadership, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to the welfare of hostel residents.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations of the hostel, including check‑in and check‑out procedures, room allocations, and maintenance schedules.
• Enforce hostel rules and conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline.
• Coordinate with the school administration to align hostel policies with institutional objectives and regulatory standards.
• Handle conflict resolution among residents, mediating disputes and implementing disciplinary measures when necessary.
• Supervise hostel staff, assign duties, and conduct performance reviews to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of room occupancy, maintenance requests, and incident reports.
• Liaise with local authorities, health services, and emergency contacts to address any safety or health concerns promptly.
• Organize welfare activities such as health camps, counseling sessions, and cultural events to promote a holistic living environment.
• Monitor and control hostel budget items, including utilities, supplies, and repairs, ensuring cost‑effective management.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans, conducting drills for fire, earthquake, and other potential hazards.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about hostel conditions, student behaviour, and any incidents.
