PGT Music Teacher Role at Aryakulam Nilokheri, Karnal
This role is for a passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Music to join Aryakulam Nilokheri, a well-established school in Nilokheri, Karnal. You will lead music education, ensuring students develop both theoretical and practical skills in classical, folk, and contemporary Indian music. The position focuses on fostering creativity, cultural appreciation, and discipline through structured yet engaging lessons.
You will plan and conduct daily music classes, including vocal, instrumental (e.g., tabla, veena, or violin), and music theory sessions. Collaboration with the school’s curriculum team will help integrate music across subjects like literature and social studies. Assisting in school events, performances, and extracurricular activities will also be part of your responsibilities.
To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music (B.Mus.) or equivalent, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A Master’s degree in Music or related field is preferred. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, prior teaching experience in schools is highly beneficial.
For this role, 4 years of relevant teaching experience is expected, preferably in a high school or similar educational setting. Knowledge of Indian classical music traditions, modern teaching methodologies, and experience in managing student performances would be advantageous.
The salary for this position is Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, with benefits including a stipend for professional development and access to school resources.
