Einstein World School seeks a dedicated PRT (Primary Teacher) specializing in Art and Craft to join its vibrant classroom in Nilokheri, Karnal. This role focuses on inspiring young learners with creative expression, hands-on projects, and cultural exploration through visual arts, textiles, and craft techniques. The teacher will engage students in age-appropriate activities that foster imagination, fine motor skills, and artistic appreciation.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Art and Craft lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum, ensuring hands-on learning through materials like clay, paper, fabrics, and natural elements. Develop lesson plans that balance creativity with structured learning objectives, adapting activities for diverse student abilities.
Incorporate cultural themes and regional art traditions to make lessons meaningful and inclusive, while maintaining safety standards for materials and tools. Collaborate with the subject coordinator to integrate Art and Craft into broader classroom activities and school events.
Assist in assessing student progress through creative projects, observations, and simple evaluations. Maintain a well-stocked art room with supplies, tools, and storage solutions to support ongoing projects.
Participate in team meetings to share teaching strategies and receive feedback, ensuring continuous improvement in lesson delivery. Support the school’s mission of holistic development by encouraging students’ confidence and artistic growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory for this role. Experience in teaching Art and Craft to primary school students (ages 6–12) is essential, with at least two years of relevant classroom experience. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career advancement.
A passion for hands-on teaching, creativity, and working with young learners is crucial. Familiarity with school policies, safety protocols, and basic educational technology will be an asset. The ideal candidate thrives in an environment that values innovation and student-centered learning.
