Dav Police Public School is looking for an experienced Hindi educator to lead the primary Hindi department as a PRT Hindi Teacher. What You Will Do
Design and deliver a structured Hindi curriculum for Classes 1 to 5 at Dav Police Public School, ensuring alignment with CBSE guidelines and local academic expectations in Karnal. Create engaging lesson plans using storytelling, worksheets, rhymes, and interactive activities to build vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills from an early age.
Assess student progress through regular classroom observations, monthly tests, and portfolio reviews to identify learning gaps in Hindi comprehension and expression. Provide timely feedback to parents during PTMs and through informal updates, especially in Hindi medium sections where language support is critical.
Train and guide PRT Hindi Teachers and teaching assistants on classroom strategies, resource creation, and student engagement techniques specific to Hindi language teaching. Organize Hindi recitation competitions, story-telling sessions, and cultural events to promote linguistic confidence and cultural pride among students.
Collaborate with the senior leadership team at Dav Police Public School to integrate Hindi language goals into the school’s annual academic calendar and co-curricular plan. Review and refine teaching materials, including textbooks, audio-visual aids, and digital content, to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications
Graduation in Hindi or Hindi Literature with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed in Hindi or equivalent with D.El.Ed or B.El.Ed as an added advantage for primary teaching roles.
Mandatory: CTET or Haryana TET qualification with Hindi as a teaching subject. NET or SET in Hindi is preferred for this senior position.
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Hindi, with at least 3 years in primary grades (1 to 5) at a reputed school. Experience in curriculum development, teacher mentoring, or department coordination will be highly valued.
