Seeking a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher for Mother Teresa Convent School in Indri, Karnal

Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily PE classes, ensuring activities are age-appropriate and engaging for students. Organize games, drills, and team sports that promote physical health and fair competition. Maintain a safe and organized sports facility, including equipment and changing areas. Monitor student participation and provide immediate feedback on performance and behavior during activities.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update PE lesson plans that integrate national and state curriculum standards. Collaborate with school administration and other teachers to align PE goals with overall academic and extracurricular objectives. Participate in school events such as sports days, inter-house competitions, and health awareness campaigns. Assess students’ physical development through regular evaluations and report progress to parents and school management.
Periodic Responsibilities
Coordinate with external sports clubs, coaches, or trainers for specialized workshops or skill development sessions. Attend training workshops or seminars related to physical education teaching methods and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with school policies on sports equipment maintenance, emergency procedures, and student safety during physical activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or a related field. Possess a valid TET/CTET certificate, though not mandatory. Minimum of four years of teaching experience, preferably in Physical Education or a related subject. Strong knowledge of sports rules, techniques, and safety measures for various activities.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000. The position is based in Indri, Karnal, Haryana, with travel arrangements covered by the school for any necessary fieldwork or training.
