Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons that align with the school’s curriculum while adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs. Conduct experiments and demonstrations to make abstract concepts tangible and interactive for students. Monitor student progress in physics through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Prepare and maintain well-organized lesson plans, including materials and resources, ensuring they are accessible and effective for classroom use.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and implement projects, experiments, and practical activities that encourage students to explore physics concepts beyond the textbook. Collaborate with other science teachers to design interdisciplinary activities that enhance learning across subjects. Participate in faculty meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on best teaching practices and curriculum advancements. Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates on student performance and participation in physics-related activities.
Periodic Responsibilities
Assist in organizing and participating in school events, competitions, and science fairs where physics is featured, to encourage student engagement. Review and update teaching materials, including textbooks, worksheets, and digital resources, to ensure they reflect current scientific knowledge and educational standards. Conduct periodic evaluations of student understanding and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to address any gaps in learning.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Physics or an equivalent subject. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with a minimum of two years of teaching experience in physics. Successful completion of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrate a strong command of English to facilitate effective communication with students and parents.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.32,000. The position is based in Nilokheri, Karnal, Haryana, in a full-time capacity.
