Foundation Botany Teacher Position at RPS Public Sr. Sec. School, Narnaul
Teaching Foundation level Botany students in a well-established school in Narnaul, Mahendragarh, is a key responsibility. The role involves shaping young minds with hands-on learning in plant biology, ecology, and related concepts. Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily classroom sessions covering basic botany topics like plant classification, growth, and simple ecological interactions. Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, and practical evaluations to track comprehension and application of botany concepts. Collaborate with the science department to integrate botany with other subjects like environmental studies, ensuring a holistic learning experience. Participate in school-wide activities and events that promote scientific exploration and awareness among students. Update teaching resources, lab equipment, and classroom materials to support evolving educational needs.
Periodic Responsibilities
Organize field trips or outdoor activities to explore local flora, linking classroom learning with real-world examples. Conduct periodic parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and areas requiring improvement. Review and update teaching methodologies based on student feedback and assessment data to refine instruction and engagement strategies.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Botany or a related science subject. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification to ensure effective teaching standards. Three years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in foundation or secondary levels, is mandatory. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, prior certification can be an added advantage.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs.60,000 to Rs.90,000. The position is based in Narnaul, Mahendragarh, Haryana, with the opportunity to contribute to the school’s academic growth in the science department.
