Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan, Mahendergarh invites applications for the position of a senior PGT Accountancy Teacher who can assume the role of the Head of Department, overseeing the teaching of Accountancy at the senior secondary level.
What You Will Do
- Own the curriculum for Accountancy at the senior secondary level, ensuring its implementation and assessment.
- Take charge of mentoring junior staff members, guiding them in teaching methodologies and classroom management.
- Foster a competitive learning environment, encouraging students to excel in Board exams.
- Design and deliver engaging lecture sessions, incorporating real-world examples and case studies.
- Develop and implement new teaching materials, keeping pace with the changing Accountancy syllabus.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a holistic understanding of the subject.
- Analyze and discuss performance trends, identifying areas of improvement for students.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Accountancy, applying relevant knowledge to teaching practices.
- Collaborate with the School administration to implement policies and procedures.
- Assist in planning and organizing school events related to Accountancy.
Required Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in Commerce with a specialization in Accountancy is mandatory. A degree in B.Ed or D.El.Ed is also required. Holding a NET or SET certification is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in teaching Accountancy at the senior secondary level, with 3 years in a similar role, is a must.
