Indus Valley Public School in Mahendragarh, Haryana, is seeking an experienced Mathematics teacher to join our team. We are looking for a highly qualified and dedicated educator to lead our Mathematics department.
Leadership Expectations and Curriculum Ownership:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive Mathematics curriculum that aligns with the school's standards and curriculum.
* Lead the Mathematics department and ensure that teachers are empowered to take ownership of their subject area.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Mathematics education and implement innovative teaching methods.
* Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of the Mathematics program and make recommendations for improvement.
Core Responsibilities:
* Teach Mathematics to students in grades 6-12, as per the school's curriculum and standards.
* Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to meet the needs of all learners.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
* Use technology to enhance teaching and learning, and to provide students with opportunities to explore and learn through digital media.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement integrated units of study that incorporate multiple subjects.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in Mathematics education.
* Support the school's mission and values by promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and responsibility.
What You Bring to the Table:
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution.
* TET or CTET certification is preferred.
* 1-2 years of experience in teaching Mathematics.
* Proven track record of improving student outcomes and achievement.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
