About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated PGT History Teacher to join our team at Dass And Brown School in Panchkula, Haryana. As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History to students from Class 6 to 12. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and encourage critical thinking and analytical skills in your students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach History to students from Class 6 to 12
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their performance
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Participate in professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results
- Contribute to the development of History curriculum and materials
- Engage with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you should have a Post Graduate degree in History or a related subject from a recognized university. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. CTET or TET certification is preferred but not essential. You should have at least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting and a good understanding of the History curriculum for Classes 6 to 12.
Salary and Benefits
