Your responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Grades 1 to 5 at St. Vivekanand Millennium School. Create hands-on activities using everyday objects to explain fractions, measurements, and patterns. Prepare monthly newsletters with puzzles and math tricks for parents and students. Use digital tools such as GeoGebra and Scratch to demonstrate mathematical concepts visually. Organize inter-house math fairs where students present projects on historical mathematicians. Conduct weekly doubt-clearing sessions after school for students needing extra support. Collaborate with other PRTs to align math topics with school-wide STEM initiatives. Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records on the school ERP system.
Qualifications and digital literacy requirements
Graduate in Mathematics or related field with B.Ed/D.El.Ed. TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary grades. Basic proficiency in MS Office, Zoom, and Google Classroom is essential. Familiarity with LMS platforms like Moodle or Google Classroom is an added advantage.
