PGT Accountancy Teacher Position at Delhi Public School, Panipat Refinery Campus
Delhi Public School, Panipat Refinery campus seeks a dedicated PGT Accountancy Teacher to join the academic team. This role is for a full-time position, teaching Accountancy at the senior secondary level, and is based in Panipat, Haryana. The successful candidate will contribute to shaping students’ financial literacy and analytical skills in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging lessons on core Accountancy topics, including financial statements, cost accounting, and taxation principles. Ensure alignment with the latest CBSE syllabus and incorporate modern teaching methods to enhance student understanding. Assess students through continuous evaluation, including projects, quizzes, and exams, while maintaining fairness and transparency.
Prepare detailed lesson plans, syllabus breakdowns, and teaching aids to support classroom instruction. Act as a subject mentor, guiding junior teachers and providing guidance on pedagogical best practices. Represent the school at academic forums, workshops, or inter-school competitions related to Accountancy or finance.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Accountancy, Commerce, or a related field. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree to qualify as a PGT in Haryana. Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in Accountancy or Commerce at the senior secondary level. Strong command over English and Haryana’s local language is essential.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.35,000, along with the opportunity to work in a reputed institution located in Panipat, Haryana.
