Role Summary
The PGT History Teacher will be responsible for teaching History to students from classes 9 to 12, preparing lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
What You Will Do
- Teach History to students from classes 9 to 12
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations
- Conduct quizzes, tests, and exams to evaluate student progress
- Develop and implement engaging teaching methods to enhance student learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute curriculum activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development programs
- Engage in co-curricular activities and extracurricular events
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the PGT History Teacher position, candidates must have a post-graduate degree in History or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting is required, with a preference for those with TET or CTET qualifications.
