Daily Responsibilities

Monitor student progress in Political Science, ensuring they grasp complex concepts through structured assignments and discussions. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment to encourage active participation and respect for diverse viewpoints.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans based on the latest curriculum updates and student feedback to ensure relevance and effectiveness. Collaborate with subject coordinators to integrate Political Science with other disciplines, such as history or economics, for a broader educational experience. Participate in school events like debates, model UN simulations, and guest lectures to expose students to real-world political scenarios. Assist in organizing school-level competitions and workshops related to political awareness and civic duties.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and areas needing improvement in Political Science. Review and assess student portfolios, essays, and projects to provide constructive feedback and guide their academic growth. Contribute to the school’s annual review process by submitting reports on teaching methodologies, student outcomes, and suggestions for curriculum enhancement.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related field is mandatory. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required for teaching roles at this level. At least two years of teaching experience in Political Science, preferably at the secondary or senior secondary level, is essential. While TET/CTET certificates are preferred, they are not mandatory for this position.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a monthly salary ranging from Rs.45,000 to Rs.70,000.
