Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects. Ensure students participate in school events that highlight musical talent, such as cultural fairs and inter-house competitions.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend monthly staff meetings to discuss music teaching strategies and share best practices. Conduct regular parent-teacher interactions to discuss student progress in music education. Participate in school-wide assessments to evaluate music curriculum effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a graduate degree in any discipline with at least three years of teaching experience. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in teaching music to children is essential. Familiarity with school music programs and basic educational technology is beneficial.
