The Vidya Vatika World School is looking for a PRT Science Teacher to join our team in Panipat. The role is for teaching Science to primary classes with a focus on practical learning. You will plan daily lessons aligned with the NCERT curriculum and create engaging activities for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Science to classes 1 to 5 using interactive methods.
2. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids for Science topics.
3. Conduct simple experiments and demonstrations in the classroom.
4. Assess student understanding through quizzes, projects, and oral tests.
5. Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
6. Organize science fairs and field trips to nearby locations.
7. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Science with other subjects.
8. Provide individual attention to students needing extra help.
9. Submit weekly reports on student progress to the coordinator.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Graduation in Science or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school.
Familiarity with NCERT Science syllabus for classes 1 to 5.
Ability to communicate clearly in Hindi and English.
Good to Have
CTET or TET qualification.
Experience in CBSE-affiliated schools.
Knowledge of child psychology and classroom management.
Training in activity-based learning or Montessori methods.
Willingness to participate in school events and parent meetings.
