The TGT Computer Science Teacher must hold a postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Experience in teaching Computer Science to students in the 11th and 12th grades is essential, ensuring familiarity with syllabi like NCERT and state board standards.
Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering lectures on core Computer Science topics such as algorithms, data structures, programming languages, and computer networks. You will also conduct practical sessions, lab work, and hands-on coding exercises to enhance students’ understanding. Regular assessment of students’ progress, including projects and assignments, will be part of your daily tasks.
A key aspect of the role is fostering a collaborative learning environment where students can explore technology while developing critical thinking skills. The teacher must stay updated with technological advancements and integrate them into the curriculum where applicable.
