PGT Botany Teacher Position at Suraj School Dharuhera
A qualified PGT Botany Teacher is needed to join Suraj School Dharuhera in Rewari, Haryana, as part of its academic team. This role involves teaching advanced botany courses to students at the senior secondary level, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and fostering scientific curiosity.
Core Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging lectures on core botany topics, including plant taxonomy, physiology, and genetics. Prepare comprehensive lesson plans that integrate practical demonstrations and real-world applications. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including exams and project-based assessments.
Additional Duties
Support the school’s extracurricular activities by organizing botany-related workshops or field trips. Collaborate with other subject teachers to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities. Maintain updated teaching resources, including lab materials and digital learning tools, to support classroom instruction.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Botany with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is mandatory. Familiarity with TET/CTET guidelines is beneficial but not mandatory for this role.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.40,000 to Rs.80,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The position offers a full-time contract within the school’s academic framework.
