PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Rashtriya Senior Secondary School, Bawal
Teach Social Science subjects including History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics to students in Classes 9 and 10. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum while ensuring conceptual clarity and student engagement.
Prepare and conduct daily classes, including interactive sessions, discussions, and practical demonstrations where applicable. Assess student understanding through continuous evaluation—quizzes, projects, and periodic tests—to provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a classroom environment that fosters critical thinking, ethical discussion, and civic awareness. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary learning, such as linking history with geography or political science with current events.
Plan and conduct extracurricular activities like debates, model rallies, or field trips to reinforce social science concepts in real-world contexts. Ensure all teaching materials, including textbooks, worksheets, and digital resources, are updated and accessible.
Attend school meetings, staff discussions, and professional development workshops to stay informed about teaching best practices. Support students with special needs by adapting teaching methods as required by school policies.
Ensure compliance with school rules regarding attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct. Act as a bridge between students and parents by maintaining clear communication on academic progress and extracurricular involvement.
Qualifications: Graduate degree with a minimum of three years of teaching experience in Social Science. B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred. TET/CTET not mandatory but advantageous. Salary offered is Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month. Full-time, permanent position in Bawal, Rewari.
