Daily Responsibilities

Maintain a structured classroom environment, enforcing discipline while promoting respect for historical narratives. Collaborate with students to conduct small-group discussions, debates, and research projects on historical topics.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and review assessment tools, including quizzes, projects, and exams, to evaluate students’ understanding of historical concepts. Stay updated on the latest educational policies and curriculum updates to ensure teaching methods remain relevant and effective. Work closely with the principal and subject coordinators to align history teaching with school-wide goals and initiatives. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies, resource allocation, and student performance trends.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct parent-teacher interactions to discuss students’ progress, strengths, and areas for improvement in history. Organize field trips, guest lectures, or cultural events related to history to provide real-world context to classroom learning. Review and update teaching resources, such as textbooks, multimedia presentations, and digital tools, to enhance historical education.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in History or a related discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum one year of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is essential. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, a passion for history, and the ability to inspire students are key requirements.
Salary and Location
