PRT English Teacher Job in Rohtak, Haryana | School Recruitment
Ved Model International School | Kalanaur is looking for a PRT English Teacher to enrich the learning experience of our students in Rohtak, Haryana.
Daily responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English lessons to students, ensuring clarity of concepts and active participation.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the school curriculum.
- Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and school events.
- Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum reviews, and professional development workshops.
- Support students’ academic progress by monitoring performance and advising on improvement strategies.
- Contribute to the development of assessment tools and grading rubrics.
Periodic responsibilities
- Lead or assist in school examinations, ensuring fair and timely grading.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities such as debates, essay competitions, and cultural programs.
- Coordinate with parents during parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns.
Qualification and experience
- Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required.
- TET/CTET certification preferred but not mandatory.
Salary and location
- Competitive salary ranging from Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
