TGT Physical Education Teacher Position at Mds Public School | Madina, Meham
Mds Public School | Madina in Meham, Rohtak, is seeking a dedicated TGT Physical Education Teacher to inspire and develop students’ physical and mental well-being through engaging sports and fitness programs. This role involves designing and delivering curriculum-aligned PE lessons while fostering a healthy, active lifestyle among students. The teacher will also coordinate extracurricular sports activities, ensuring participation and skill development across various disciplines.
The teacher will report to the school’s principal or head of the physical education department, though the exact reporting structure is flexible based on operational needs. Core Duties
Planning and conducting daily physical education classes, including drills, team sports, and individual activities like swimming, athletics, and gymnastics.
Developing age-appropriate fitness programs that align with school policies and national education standards.
Facilitating school sports events, tournaments, and inter-house competitions to promote team spirit and sportsmanship.
Collaborating with teachers and administrators to integrate physical education into overall academic and extracurricular goals.
Ensuring safety protocols are followed during all sports and fitness activities, including equipment handling and emergency preparedness.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field is essential. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching roles in schools.
At least four years of experience in teaching Physical Education, preferably in a high school or similar educational setting.
A valid TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Strong knowledge of sports science, curriculum development, and student engagement techniques is required.
Compensation and Location
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.40,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
