Dav Multipurpose Public School is looking for a full-time Career Counsellor to guide students and parents on higher education pathways and career choices. The role involves creating structured counselling programs aligned with Haryana’s educational landscape. You will work closely with school leadership to implement career awareness initiatives across grades.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Organize career guidance sessions for students from classes 9 to 12 in Sonipat and nearby areas.
2. Conduct one-on-one counselling to assess student interests and recommend suitable courses and colleges.
3. Maintain updated records of student progress and counselling outcomes for school reports.
4. Collaborate with Dav Multipurpose Public School’s administration to plan college fairs and university visits.
5. Develop resource materials such as brochures and online content on career trends and entrance exams.
6. Liaise with parents during PTMs to explain career options and higher education pathways.
7. Coordinate with external agencies for mock tests, scholarship information, and internship opportunities.
8. Monitor and report on student career aspirations to the school management for strategic planning.
