4. Coordinate with school administration to schedule match timings and venue allocations.
5. Prepare monthly progress reports on student performance and skill development.
6. Represent Dav Multipurpose Public School in regional and state-level chess events.
7. Ensure all coaching equipment like boards, clocks, and software remain in usable condition.
8. Collaborate with physical education department to integrate chess with overall sports curriculum.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is mandatory. Candidates must possess basic computer skills for recording scores and preparing reports. Familiarity with online chess platforms like Chess.com or Lichess is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
Prior coaching experience of at least two years in competitive chess is required. Knowledge of FIDE rating system and tournament rules will be preferred. Ability to work in a team and manage student discipline during sessions is essential.
What You Get
A monthly honorarium between Rs.20,000 and Rs.40,000 will be offered based on experience and qualifications.
