Dronacharya Model School

Welcome to Dronacharya Model School, a place that grew from a simple belief: every child in Chhatehra, Mundlana Block, deserves a learning environment that respects their curiosity and builds solid foundations for the years ahead. When I first set foot on the plot at VPO Chhatehra, Sonipat, I imagined a school where the walls would echo with questions, where teachers would be guides rather than mere transmitters of facts, and where families could trust that their children were in safe, caring hands. Today, that vision stands firm as we serve boys and girls from Class 1 through Class 8, offering a continuous path from primary to upper‑primary education.

Our school follows the Haryana Board of School Education curriculum, a framework that balances rigorous academic standards with practical application. We do not claim to be extraordinary in a generic sense; instead, we focus on doing the basics well—reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies—while weaving in activities that let students apply what they learn to everyday life. The classrooms are equipped with modest technology, and the teachers are chosen not only for their qualifications but also for their willingness to listen, adapt, and mentor each child according to his or her strengths and challenges.

Because Dronacharya Model School is a private unaided institution, we have the flexibility to respond quickly to the needs of our community. Parents from the surrounding villages and the town of Sonipat come to us because they want an education that respects local values yet prepares their children for a world that is constantly changing. We keep our fees transparent and our policies straightforward, so families know exactly what they are investing in.

In every school day, you will see children working together on a science experiment, practicing a new language skill, or sharing stories during a morning circle. These moments reflect our core purpose: to nurture responsible, confident individuals who can think clearly and act with integrity. As the founder and principal, I am proud of the modest yet steady progress we have made, and I look forward to watching each student grow into a thoughtful adult who carries the lessons learned here into the wider world.
