JOB OVERVIEW
Position: Nursery Teacher (English)
Section: Pre-Primary Department
Location: Rural Campus
Employment Type: Full-time
PRIMARY DUTIES
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching English to nursery and kindergarten students using play-way and activity-based methods. Duties include preparing daily lesson plans, creating innovative teaching aids, and conducting storytelling and rhyme sessions to improve student vocabulary. The teacher must monitor the overall development of each child, maintain attendance registers, and prepare detailed progress reports. Additionally, the teacher will coordinate with parents during monthly parent-teacher meetings and assist in organizing school functions and cultural programs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must be a Graduate in any stream from a recognized university. A formal certification in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) or Montessori Training is mandatory. Applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school environment. Strong communication skills in English and a patient, child-friendly temperament are essential. Please note that a Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualification is not required for this position.
