Responsibilities
Teach Economics to students in grades 11 and 12 with a focus on modern economic theories and real-world applications. Prepare and deliver well-structured syllabus-based lessons, incorporating case studies and current economic events to enhance learning. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including assignments, quizzes, and practical assessments. Actively participate in school events, including workshops and parent-teacher meetings, to promote transparency and engagement.
Qualification
A postgraduate degree in Economics with a specialization in macroeconomics, microeconomics, or related fields is mandatory. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is essential for this role. Experience in teaching Economics at the senior secondary level is highly preferred. A valid TET/CTET certificate is beneficial but not mandatory for this position.
Experience
A minimum of four years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. Familiarity with CBSE or state board syllabi is advantageous. Experience in preparing students for competitive exams is a plus. The ideal candidate should have a track record of motivating students and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month.
