Role Overview
Swastik Convent School | Sonipat seeks a dedicated TGT Physics Teacher to deliver engaging physics lessons to secondary students. The candidate will support curriculum delivery and foster a learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct comprehensive physics lessons for classes 8 to 10, ensuring alignment with the state syllabus and learning outcomes.
- Design and implement laboratory experiments, safety protocols, and practical sessions that reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans, and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
Supporting Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and school-wide science initiatives.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and parent‑teacher interactions to enhance instructional quality.
- Contribute to the development of supplementary teaching materials and visual aids that support diverse learning styles.
- Uphold the school’s values by promoting a respectful and inclusive classroom culture.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Physics or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong command of physics concepts and the ability to translate them into engaging lessons for students.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Compensation and Location
- Salary range: Rs.19,000 – Rs.30,000 per month.
- Full‑time position based in Sonipat, Haryana.
