Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated TGT Science teacher to join our rural campus for the academic session 2024-25. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering the CBSE Science curriculum to classes VI to VIII, fostering scientific temperament and practical learning among students from rural backgrounds. The role demands a blend of pedagogical excellence and community engagement to ensure holistic development.
Primary Duties
Prepare lesson plans aligned with CBSE guidelines for Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for classes VI-VIII.
Conduct engaging classroom lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on experiments using low-cost, locally available materials.
Assess student progress through periodic tests, projects, and practical assessments; maintain comprehensive records.
Organize Science exhibitions, quiz competitions, and field visits to enhance experiential learning.
Collaborate with the school science club and eco-club to promote environmental awareness and STEM activities.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events to strengthen community ties.
Prepare students for national-level Olympiads and science fairs through mentoring and practice sessions.
Ensure cleanliness and safety during all practical activities and maintain discipline in the classroom.

Qualification and Experience
Post-graduate degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Science Education) from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teacher training qualification.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school, preferably in a rural or semi-urban setting.
Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns is desirable.
Proficiency in Hindi and English; knowledge of the local dialect is an added advantage.
Success Metrics
Achieve 90% or higher pass percentage in Science for classes VII and VIII in the annual board examinations.
Ensure at least 75% participation of students in science-related co-curricular activities.
Receive positive feedback from at least 85% of parents in annual feedback surveys regarding teaching quality and student progress.
Conduct at least two major science exhibitions or fairs per academic year.
Train and mentor a minimum of 5 students for participation in district or state-level science competitions annually.
Maintain 100% attendance and punctuality in all scheduled classes and school events.
Salary and Compensation
