Subject‑Specific Responsibilities
Design and deliver lesson plans aligned with the Haryana Social Science curriculum for classes XI and XII. Integrate contemporary issues, comparative politics, and economic concepts into the syllabus. Utilize primary sources, maps, and case studies to enhance analytical skills. Coordinate with the school’s senior faculty to align interdisciplinary projects and ensure coherence across subjects.
Assessment and Practical Work
Prepare formative assessments, quizzes, and project guidelines that reflect the latest educational standards. Conduct research‑based projects, such as local history investigations or socio‑economic surveys, encouraging students to present findings in seminars. Evaluate student performance through written exams, oral presentations, and group work, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in History, Political Science, Economics or related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required. TET/CTET certification preferred but not mandatory. The candidate must be registered with the State Council of Educational Research and Training.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting. Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse classroom, employ innovative teaching strategies, and facilitate student engagement in social science topics.
Salary and Location
Competitive salary range of Rs.22,000 - Rs.32,000 per month. Position based in Sonipat, Haryana at The Pushp World School. Full‑time employment with benefits in line with school policy.
