Janta Public School invites applications for a full‑time PGT Computer Science Teacher in Radaur, Yamunanagar. The role involves delivering the Computer Science curriculum to classes XI and XII and preparing students for board examinations. This position offers a dynamic classroom environment in a well‑established school of the region.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct engaging theory and practical Computer Science lessons as per NCERT guidelines.
2. Design and update laboratory experiments, coding projects and assessment tools.
3. Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, and term exams and maintain accurate records.
4. Guide students in extracurricular tech activities such as coding clubs, robotics and inter‑school competitions.
5. Coordinate with senior staff for timetable planning and curriculum alignment.
6. Mentor junior teachers and assist in teacher‑training workshops when required.
7. Communicate progress and concerns regularly to parents and school administration.
8. Participate in school events and community outreach programs related to technology education.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a post‑graduate degree in Computer Science or a related discipline along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is essential. TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of programming languages, operating systems and networking, coupled with effective classroom management skills, is required.
Salary and location
The salary offered is Rs.25,000 - Rs.45,000 per month and the posting is at Janta Public School, Radaur, Yamunanagar, Haryana.
