Job Description
TGT Physical Education Teacher Job in Yamunanagar, Haryana | School Recruitment
Walking through the morning assembly at S.s Public Sr. Sec. School, you can feel the energy—students buzzing with curiosity, teachers greeting familiar faces, and the playground waiting for its daily rhythm. Physical Education isn’t just a period here; it’s where discipline meets joy, and every child gets a chance to move, learn, and grow.
What makes this School special
S.s Public Sr. Sec. School stands out in Yamunanagar for blending strong academics with a vibrant sports culture. The campus is alive with activity, from morning drills to inter-house tournaments. Teachers here don’t just teach—they mentor, inspire, and often join the students on the field, creating bonds that last beyond the classroom.
A typical day or week in this role
You’ll start your mornings coordinating warm-ups and drills for different classes, ensuring every child participates safely. Between periods, you’ll organize skill-building sessions—football, athletics, or yoga—tailoring activities to age groups. Mid-morning, you might oversee the sports equipment room, checking inventory and replacing worn-out gear.
Afternoons bring team practices for upcoming inter-school competitions, where your role shifts from teacher to coach, fine-tuning techniques and boosting morale. You’ll also assist in annual sports day planning, selecting events and arranging trophies and medals. Parent-teacher meetings sometimes include discussions on fitness routines or nutrition tips for students.
Weekends? They’re for organizing friendly matches or scouting talent for upcoming tournaments. The school encourages teachers to suggest new games too—last year, a batch introduced kabaddi drills that became a hit.
Who would thrive here
A TGT Physical Education Teacher in Yamunanagar, Haryana needs a postgraduate degree in Physical Education and at least three years of hands-on experience. While TET or CTET isn’t mandatory, exposure to school sports administration helps. More than qualifications, we look for someone who enjoys being outdoors, stays patient with young learners, and can turn a simple game into a life lesson.
The rewards
This Physical Education Teaching Job in Yamunanagar offers Rs.20,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, with increments tied to performance and tenure. You’ll get access to sports facilities, uniforms, and opportunities to attend coaching workshops. More importantly, you’ll leave each day knowing you’ve shaped not just athletes, but healthier, more confident young citizens.
Next steps to apply
If you’re ready to bring energy and structure to S.s Public Sr. Sec. School’s sports program, send your resume and a short note on your teaching philosophy to the email listed. Include your postgraduate degree certificate and experience proof. We’d love to see how you can help our students run faster, jump higher, and aim further—both on and off the field.
