Role Summary

Day-to-Day Duties

Oversee the procurement and maintenance of sports equipment such as nets, balls, and protective gear. Liaise with the accounts department to ensure timely purchase orders and stock replenishment before each tournament season. Track equipment condition and recommend replacements during mid-year reviews.
Train junior assistant coaches and interns through on-field demonstrations and feedback sessions. Schedule monthly peer-learning meetings where assistant coaches share best practices and analyse match footage. Address individual skill gaps identified during practice drills and set measurable improvement targets.
Communicate regularly with parents during home fixtures and away trips to share match schedules and travel logistics. Address concerns about playing time or discipline through structured parent meetings held every quarter. Maintain transparent communication channels via WhatsApp groups and printed circulars.
Represent Dav Public School at district-level sports meetings convened by the Haryana School Sports Association. Submit monthly reports on participation rates and medal tallies to the principal and Sports Coordinator. Prepare quarterly sports bulletins for the school magazine highlighting team achievements.
Required Qualifications
Graduate in Physical Education or Sports Science from a recognised university. Postgraduate degree in Sports Management or M.Sc in Sports Coaching is preferred. Minimum five years of volleyball coaching experience, with at least two years in a school or academy setting.
