Job Description
PRT Art And Craft Teacher – Shivalik School, Amb, Una, Himachal Pradesh
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Art and Craft lessons for primary classes, fostering creativity and fine motor skills. Prepare teaching aids, manage classroom resources, and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Conduct periodic assessments, record student progress, and communicate results to parents. Coordinate with senior teachers for interdisciplinary projects and school exhibitions. Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and community art events.
Qualification
Graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Art and Craft or related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared TET or CTET. Candidates must possess a valid teaching certificate as per state regulations.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of full‑time teaching experience in a recognized school, handling primary level Art and Craft classes. Experience in preparing exhibition displays and managing material inventories is advantageous.
Salary and Employment Type
Salary: Rs.12,000 – Rs.25,000 per month. Employment type: Full‑time, permanent position.
