Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Mathematics along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school setting is essential. TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Role Overview
With the required academic background and teaching experience, the teacher will be able to design and deliver the Mathematics curriculum for classes XI and XII, adapt concepts to diverse learner needs, and foster analytical thinking among students at Shivalik School in Amb, Una.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and conduct Mathematics lessons in accordance with the state syllabus and school guidelines.
- Use varied teaching aids, technology and real‑life examples to make abstract concepts understandable.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments and examinations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and offer remedial support or enrichment activities as needed.
- Participate in faculty meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and school events to promote a collaborative learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and classroom activities.
- Contribute to the development of school‑wide academic initiatives and extracurricular math clubs.
Salary and Location
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs.17,000 to Rs.35,000. The role is based at Shivalik School, Amb, Una, Himachal Pradesh.
