Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that integrate physical activity with academic learning objectives. Mentor student athletes, fostering discipline, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles. Maintain up-to-date records of student performance in sports and fitness assessments.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, followed by a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. A postgraduate degree in Physical Education or Sports Science is mandatory for this role. Experience in teaching Physical Education at the secondary level (Class 6-12) is essential, with at least three years of relevant experience. Possession of TET/CTET certification is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of Indian school curriculum guidelines for Physical Education is required. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school management is crucial. Familiarity with sports equipment maintenance and basic first aid is beneficial.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 70,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
