Physical Education Teacher Position at Ambitus World School
Ambitus World School in Vijayawada seeks a dedicated Primary Teacher (PRT) to lead Physical Education across its Vuyyuru campus. This role focuses on fostering active learning through sports, games, and fitness activities for students in primary grades. The teacher will design engaging lessons that align with national education standards while promoting physical well-being and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate Physical Education classes, ensuring fun and structured activities. Supervise outdoor games, track events, and maintain sports equipment in good condition. Collaborate with the school’s curriculum team to integrate PE into broader learning objectives. Monitor student participation, attendance, and progress in physical activities. Organize school-wide sports events and competitions to encourage healthy competition.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a focus on Physical Education. A graduate degree in relevant fields is required. Experience in teaching Physical Education to primary students is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly valued. Must possess good communication skills and a passion for youth development.
Work Environment and Salary
This is a full-time position based in Vuyyuru, Krishna district. The monthly salary ranges from Rs.14,000 to Rs.24,000, depending on qualifications and performance. The role involves active engagement with students, parents, and school staff to create a vibrant and inclusive PE program.
